I had an Annual policy with Essential Travel, and it all worked out fine. Website = dead easy to use. Customer services people = extremely helpful. I had to call to discuss a medical condition that I suffer from, which didn't seem to prove a problem. I just answered a few questions to the guy over the phone and I was all set. I would certainly recommend them to a friend. Remarkably, the whole affair was quite painless for everyone, except Neil of course. The ski rescue team picked him up, popped him into an ambulance at the bottom of the mountain, and whipped him off to the local Hospital. I made a call to our newly acquired insurance provider (Essential Travel) and they looked after everything! Neil had broken his arm in 2 places, but was back on his feet ... Read the complete review

ESSENTIAL TRAVEL - A MUST HAVE for pre-existing conditions I trawled the internet for this insurance and it is so good I had to recommend it Both my husband and myself have pre-exisiting medical conditions and it was becoming a nightmare to find an insurance company that didnt highly inflate the premiums because of these. This company did not charge any extra premium for our conditions, all we had to do was phone a medical screening telephone number and go through a few questions, e.g. What medication you take and how your condition is managed, they then give you a reference to use when you are booking the insurance (which can all be done online) and job ...
