after having to cancel my holiday because of family bereavement [my mother]the funeral arrangements were made after a two week wait for a post-mortem it was decide the funeral would have been while i was on holiday so obviously i could not go so i claimed cancellation from this so called insurance company which i may add i had gold cover for me my partner and son they declined my claim on the basis that i had not notified them of my mothers ongoing medical condition now i was under the understanding that i was the insured not my mother so after all the trauma of arranging the funeral they thought it fit to bring up a clause that protects them from paying out they are a disgusting company and i for one will not be using them ever again ps do we have to notify them of the medical condition of every family member and of course they do not make provision for this when you apply a totally cheap and nasty company BEWARE !!!
