The HSBC insurance is provided by Norwich Union. I don't recommend. They have a very dishonest trick to scape from their responsibilities. When you by online they would say it's OK and you have bought the insurance, but later they make excuse that your card was declined (even though you see it works online). The point is they don't let you know until your policy period ends. They would say they have contacted you but you were not available. (of course they new you were away) So when you come back from your trip they would ask for their money. If you claim they would say your policy was not valid because you have not paid; and they still can get your money.

Summary: Your card declines and you notice you had no insurance when you are back. Still you have to pay them
