HSBC Travel Insurance Reviews

Very poor cover for losses due to not being able to complete trip due to illness. Once the £50 excess per person was taken out and after a mandatory medical certificate was obtained (which cost £25) we had a claim total of £2, which in fact was a loss of £23 due to the cost of the medical certificate!

The moral of the story is always check the excess before making claims and don't use HSBC!

The HSBC insurance is provided by Norwich Union. I don't recommend. They have a very dishonest trick to scape from their responsibilities. When you by online they would say it's OK and you have bought the insurance, but later they make excuse that your card was declined (even though you see it works online).
