I have to say I disagree with most of the reviews on dooyoo regarding Insure and Go. I have been insured with them for the past two years and had no problems. Their policies are competitively priced but not the cheapest - I paid about £58 for an annual policy this year however plenty of cowboy companies on the internet charge far less. they delivered my documents promptly and also answered the phone quickly when I called them about a claim. I was claiming for lost luggage. The appropriate forms arrived within days, I sent them off with evidence as requested and received my cheque back witihin 3 weeks! I have just received a letter from insure and go stating that they will automatically debit my card and renew my travel insurance when it runs out. What a cheek! I don't recall signing up for that deal. They are saying that they will take £86. If I go online I can buy the same insurance for £80. Where's the customer loyalty in that? I don't even need the £86 policy cos I wont be going to the USA or Canada. I can't afford it again this year. What gives Insure and Go the right to assume I will need the same cover again? In any case I don't want to go on holiday until a month after the renewal date. My advice - look around for cheaper holiday ...

I lost a filling while on holiday in England. It was a Sunday, so I'd have to pay for treatment, so I called the number Insure & Go provide for claims queries. I explained the situation, including that I was in England, and she said she'd call back. This she did, and told me that I could claim so I went and got the treatment at the cost of £65. When I went to claim, I could only find an overseas claim form on their website, so I emailed them. They sent me the same form, so I emailed again to check that it was ok to use this for a UK claim. I got an automatic acknowledgement but no reply, so I went ahead and used the overseas form. After making all the ...
