Avoid - they are basically thieves (Insure and Go)

Satisfactory and then very very bad. Earlier this year I had to make a claim which Insure and Go settled quickly and fairly. "Great" I think and purchase a 13month single trip policy.
I discover two days after giving my card details to Insure & Go that they have fraudulently taken £250 out of my bank account, pushing me over my overdraft and forcing me to take out an emergency loan. I give Insure & Go the benefit of the doubt, mistakes happen (although it was for some reason a different amount to the policy cost), and inform them of their mistake. I provide them with bank statements etc. so they can issue a refund. However Insure and Go don't seem to care that they have committed a criminal offence by stealing my money and their highly incompetent staff have made it perfectly obvious that they don't give a damn. My contact appears to always be on lunch, another call, has never been heard of etc. and he obviously has the misfortune of having no fingers as he is unable to dial my phone number to return my calls. My bank's fraud team are now investigating the situation - I expect an official enquiry will be more fruitful than a pesky customer who just wants their money back.
I am just about to go travelling and find trying to sort this out stressful and am concerned now about the policy that I do hold with them.
I am trying to keep my sense of humour though and was particularly amused to discover that this summer Insure & Go launched a pre-paid card set to combat card fraud, as their managing director explains "our research shows, holiday card fraud is a massive problem and is continuing to get worse. . . . This card will help reduce these problems". Oh the irony!
My advice - avoid like the plaque. They may be cheap - but not when they steal your money!!!

Summary: They stole £250 from me and won't give it back
