travel insurance quotes for the over 65's have to be seen to be believed but nationwide offers worldwide travel insurance for ages 65 to 98 (who travels when they are 98 i wonder?)!!!- worldwide - yes for one year (each trip not to exceed 31 days) for the bargain cost of 72 pounds. this is the rate normally quoted for one trip -i think it would take some beating and was the best quote i found (ok it did take me 1 hour to look through and obtain quotes online) but when you see how much you save its got to be worth it! SORRY - i was purchasing travel insurance for my parents so do not known how good they are for the under 65's you will have to try that yourselves!

Chill Diane! This isn't a competition to write as many opinions as you can in a limited period of time!

I would have liked more information about the travel insurance. Do Nationwide only offer travel insurance for over 65s? How easy is it to contact them in case of accident while on holiday (i.e. do they issue you an emergency number)? Do they explain why they offer such a competitive price compared to other insurers?
