I took the post office travel insurance out for my partner and i on our last holiday. I have to say it was very quick and simple. You can do at your local post office, on the phone or via their website, which is what i did.

Theres the usual questions, and within a few minutes it was all sorted. I received all the documents in the post very quickly, and was quite happy with the price. We were quoted £25 each, for the slightly higher than basic package.

In comparison to some other travel insurance companies, the post office, offered much better compensation in the event of a claim, and the price was much lower.

I did notice there was an excess which i guess is the only thing, which was £50 but hopefully you should never need to claim.

Im quite a sports fanatic, and i liked that the post office covered a wide variety of sports, that didnt bump the price up too much.

Overall ive been very satisfyed with the service ive received from the post office. Thought ive never had to claim anything, there were clear details about how to do this in the literature.

Summary: excellent service received.
