Personally I am very dubious about purchasing items online. Not because of the security factors (I don't know enough about it them to judge), but because I don't fully understand how it all works, and what do you do if they take your money but don't send anything?

I did decide to give it a go though because my friend had said that most internet pages had to be secure and safe to use to be able to publish.

I went to Rapidinsure.co.uk which I had seen that day in an article in the Telegraph. I purchased an annual worldwide travel insurance for £39.17 which seemed to cover everything I required and seemed very cheap to cover me all year.

The whole process took less than 5 minutes to complete, and before stopping the internet I checked my email and found to my suprise that the documents had already arrived, which I printed out and put in a safe place.

If this is how easy purchasing items online is then I will certainly be buying more items online, and definitely be going back to Rapidinsure.co.uk for my holiday insurance next year.
