Disadvantages: lots and lots

tesco travel insurance- don't waste your money! me and my wife we're conned out of nearly two hundred pounds while on holiday in cuba, by a man dressed as a travel rep, tesco won't pay because we gave over the money willingly- so apparently fraud isn't stealing anymore- also they won't give us anything for a days lost holiday. We gave tesco our money willingly and they don't want to give anything back- so they conned US.

Summary: buy elsewhere

Sorry to hear that you fell victim of a scam but I think that you might find that there are very very few insurers who would pay out on that type of claim. It is "theft" in the technical sense but it's not theft of the type that is insured.
