Advantages: None - they are not worth 1 star but I cannot place the review without showing at least 1

Disadvantages: Only makes a bad situation worse..

Please don't buy Tesco travel Insurance.
We took out cover for a year and while in Italy I had a phone call to say that my mum was very poorly and obviously we wanted to get back to the Uk as fast as we could. Our tour rep was brilliant getting us back to our hotel from Venice so that we could contact Tesco.
It was the worst 24 hours I've ever spent - I explained the situation and that we had to get back to Luton and was assured that we would get a call back with our flight options. I had my card ready to pay but we didn't receive one call from them! We rang again and then I took a call from my sister saying mum had died. We rang a further 3 times and I assume that they have caller display because we'd get through only to have the phone put down.
I've written and complained but to date (3 weeks later) have no reply.
Leave them well alone..
