Advantages: Light and easy to use

Disadvantages: None

We have just bought a Black & Decker cordless strimmer after giving up on the large petrol strimmer that my husband had insisted was the only one for our fairly large garden!

It is a pleasure to use. The strimmer doesn't catch in the wire, as the first ones did, it is sturdy, strong and cuts through the weeds brilliantly. It also edges the lawn which is really useful.

The charge lasts about 30 minutes, which is usually time enough for most jobs and then there is a booster charge if you want to continue without fully re-charging it. If it needs to be fully charged it takes about an hour and a half, and we always let it run down completely.

Obviously being cordless, it can be taken to any corner of the garden without yards of flex trailing behind.

It is fairly light and easy to carry and will be a very useful item in the garden. It's guaranteed for 3 years and was reasonably priced.

I've amended my opinion to include the charging time.

Good review, but it would be useful to include how long it takes to charge up the strimmer completely, too!
