Black and decker grass trimmer

When I purchased this item it was considered to be a lazy mans tool by my wife. After using it for a few months it has become an essential garden tool. Quite frankly my fairly average lawns are now looking neat and have that finished look and takes a very short time to do.
The item I purchased was the type run by electricity ,and I now wish I had paid the extra for a petrol machine. The great drawback with the electric one is the need to have it plugged in somewhere with a long length of lead to keep watching. At times it is more trouble handling the lead than doing the job.
Another problem is to ensure the unit is kept clean at all times because the cutting line spins a a great rate of knots and any obstruction tends to break it and some times this means a break in proceedings and you need to re string it .
Even taking this into account I was very pleased with my purchase.

Summary:
