An absolute god-send perfect for our big garden which is hedged all round is this 22" GT500 Black & Decker Hedge-trimmer.

After purchasing a petrol trimmer which kept cutting out we decided to buy this large electric trimmer with a complimentary safety switch. It really does a first class cut on the hedges, both on our privet and holly, and quite happily cuts thought fairly thick branches.

The trimmer is comfortable to hold, with good-sized, comfrotable handle and the dual-action blades cut down on vibration when in use and safety-wise there is a front guard and also a safety lock-off switch to prevent accidental start.

The motor size is 500watt and made mincemeat of our 14ft high hedges very quickly and very neatly giving the hedges a neat, impressive and very straight cut with no straggley edges, and managing to cut thorugh the thicker parts with ease.

I am extremely satisfied with this as it certainly fits the bill for our gardening needs and would recommend it - definitely good value for money.
