“ Brand: Stihl „
I have recently started working for a garden landscaping company and our main tool is the Stihl HL 100 Hedge Trimmer. Even if we are trimming low level hedges and shrubs, we will use it for its stability and vesatility that is unmatched in a standard handheld trimmer.
The two best features of the HL 100 is that it is mounted on a pole giving a 'stepped back' view to low level hedges and extra reach to taller hedges thus reducing time on ladders, the other feature is the 90 degree swiveling head allowing more precise cutting all around the hedge.
The 50 cm, double sided cutting blade is powered by a two stroke mixed petrol motor which despite being a little heavy is counter weighted by the blade on the end. It is hand started and servicable with the same tool as all other Stihl machines.
The machine is operated by a throttle trigger mounted by the motor with an emergency off switch and a supporting handle and grip further up the pole.
This machine is also very versatile, accepting all Stihl attachments including chainsaw, edge strimmer and leaf blower making it an exremley useful tool.
Stihl tools are only purchasable from either Stihl direct or Stihl approved dealers like D and D services and retail for about £700 with one head attachment.
