I decided to get this tripod for a family holiday to Spain to avoid the blurriness you sometimes get with handheld photos. It costs about £7 on amazon so is a complete bargain compared to most other tripods. However the price reflects the basic nature of this equipment. It is not remotely advanced or specialized but is fine for family photos.

Appearance
This is an unusual looking tripod as most other reviewers have noted. The plastic is the cheap silver kind but it holds up surprisingly well against wear and scratches. It is very lightweight but the shape is bulky when unfolded although it can be folded into a small flat shape making it ideal for travelling. The feet have thin rubber strips to provide grip which actually do a really good job on most of the surfaces i have tried.

Usage
It couldn't be much easier to use. The 3 legs just fold out easily and the angle of the tripod can then be altered and placed on the closest available flat surface. Unfortunately you cannot adjust the length of the legs so the only way you can alter the height is to put it on a different surface or put something underneath it which is definitely one of the drawbacks of this tripod. I have only used it with one camera but the mounting frame has a screw at the edge for adjusting the size to fit different types. It is nice and stable while the camera is on top providing a reliable base to keep the camera level.

Overall I am incredibly happy with the quality of this tripod given the price and have used it many times. It produces great photographs with no blur and you can avoid having to hold the camera at arms length when trying to snap yourself.
