I've been looking for a value monopod for a while now. I needed something that would steady my video camera but be smaller and more compact than a tripod. This is just the ticket. It really is compact but extends to an impress 176cm in height if you need it to and folds down to just 61cm. It also has a handle a pan head for good movement, which many other monopod's I've seen do not have. i bought this mono pod the other day,unpacked it and found out that it is very sturdy product the only thing i found wrong with it is that the pan and tilt handle gets in the way,it presses against your body when you look through the view finder of your camera,if they replaced the pan/tilt handle like manfrotto use on there tripod,then it would be a lot better,but apart from that its a great monopod.the other great thing i found out when i opened the package was how well built it is and not made of cheap material,after looking at countless monopods the hama one is the best around,and with its spirit level, which is situated on the side and works a treat,so all i can say if any body reads this go and buy one it will be worth the money spent on it,good luck and happy photography.cheers.
