Bosch WTV74103GB ... having found a washing machine that actually works, and doesn t break under the pounding it takes from my family of four, I decided to change the tumble dryer to a new one - for the sake of neatness, and because my creditcard was being sarcastic, It had to be a Bosch. So, off to the shops I toddled, and promptly had a coronary at the prices. This exxcel model set me back over £300, and this is a year ago. I ve seen them going over £400 since! White Knight 43AW ... always swore I d never own a tumble dryer, being a little bit eco I always relied on a washing line or using folding airers. But mothers in law are mothers in law, aren t they? Mine thought that by line drying her thirty one year old baby s jeans I was somehow depriving him, or not showing him enough respect, or something, so she bought me one. If it weren t for the fact she visits us I d have sold it. And as it was there I figured I may as well use it... It s very good. It s quiet, energy efficient, and dries clothes quickly. Miele Novotronic T 7634 ... tumble dryer, and looks good with matching washine machine (1714). Has a drying sensor that allows you to choose whether you want your clothing dry, slightly damp, ready to iron, or super dry which is really handy, and can save you energy if you are willing to have stuff dried to ironing standard. Easy to use buttons and electronic display giving the time remaining for drying. Also measures how dry the clothing is, so although it gives you an estimate at the start of drying how long a load will take, if you have put in fewer clothes it recalculates the time remaining during the drying cycle, so that you can see how long to go.
