Indesit IS70C ... got this machine at the xmas sales, i bought it due to having no air vent for a traditional dryer and having to put the hose either out the window or the door meaning one of the two has to be open and during the winter months when you use the machine it makes the house cold and then cost more in heating. So we went for a condensing, the tumble dryer itself looks nice, easy to use, big water capacity for what it pulls out the clothes and every month ou ve got to clean the cooling system, but not a bit job at all, 2 minutes worth of work. Hotpoint CTD00P ... ve had this tumble dryer for approximately 12 months now. The hotpoint CTD00P Aquarius is an extremely good and efficient dryer. It is a condenser dryer, that is you no longer require a hose (or elephant s trunk as the kids would say) hanging out of the window to vent the steam. This particular model cost me approximately £240 from Sainburys. Yes there are cheaper alternative tumble dryers on the market but the cheaper ones tend to require a venting hose routed out of the house, which means installing it near a window or knocking holes in the wall. Hotpoint VTD00P ... purchased this dryer and had a lot of problems with it when it was first installed due to the drum not being aligned and the belt being faulty. This meant that we lost a number of items including the other half s work shirts! Not impressed to say the least and although all of this occurred within a week of purchasing it, we had a great deal of grief to get the engineer to come back. We went back to John Lewis and they managed to get it sorted and after 3 visits the problem was diagnosed, fixed and we were refunded for the loss of the items. Now - back to the dryer.
