Zanussi ZDC67550 ... had a good look round for a half decent condenser dryer as they can be quite pricey and didnt want to buy a dud. I had a look on the Which website and the ones they rated were all £400 to £500. Luckily they did show one for £349 and it was the Zanussi ZDC67550. Its a 7kg load capacity and has a drying sensor which works perfectly to choose the drying time for you, but you can also choose a drying time of 30 or 60 minutes. You can delay drying for up to 3, 6 or 9 hours so it comes on at a time to suit you and can select an end-of program buzzer. Hotpoint TVM560P ... originally chose this dryer because of its good price. However the drum seems huge (they say 6KG) and swallows a whole load easily. Due to the size the washing comes out fairly crease free and this is helped by the reverse action tumble, it also has a cool cycle at the end which reduces ironing too. There are two heat settings comtrolled by a button on the front and the timer goes to 2 hours . I have never needed to use more than about 50-60 minutes even with a full load of jeans on the hot setting. The filter is large and easily extracted from just inside the machine , there is no warning light to tell you when the filter needs cleaning as the manufacturers say... White Knight 38AW ... is a fantastic little dryer. I bought it because it was smaller than most dryers and would fit perfectly into my porch, as I had not much room in my kitchen. I didn t expect to be able to fit as much drying into it as I did. I would say it will fit three quarters of what would normally go into a usual sized dryer. It is very quick and efficient and has two heat settings. I would highly recommend this little dryer and for the price, is absolutely amazing. As long as you don t over fill it, your clothes come out virtually crease free, which saves on the ironing.
