Beko DRVS62 ... bought this dryer in white a few weeks ago to replace my old broken White Knight. I knew I wanted a full sized dryer so basically my choice was down to price rather that what the dryer actually could do. So far this has lived up to expectations. This is not a condensor drier so comes with the lovely big hose attached to it. It was quite confusing to use to start of with due to the fact that previous dryers I had all had a 90 minute dial on them. After a few uses it becomes easier to work. This has several different drying functions on it and so far I have only tried a few of them. It has 4 timed functions - 10, 20,40 and 60 minutes - cotton and synthetic sensor functio... White Knight 427 ... couldn t be more impressed with this dryer for the price if I tried! It was just over £100 in the January sales from Argos. It s still available for around £120 - £140 from other shops although Argos don t appear to be doing this model anymore. They ve got the 447 in it s place for £138 which appears to be almost identical to this. The reason we chose this one for our new dryer was because we already have a washer-dryer. So we only use our dryer for the sheets and towels etc. We didn t see the point in going for a top-of-the-range number and price was our main reason for choosing this. Hotpoint TCM570P ... paid £177.00 for this item in August 2008.. I was very careful when looking for a new tumble dryer, I needed to buy one which was going to be reliable as well as a top performer, I use my dryer on a daily basis throughout the Winter months, and have found with other tumble dryers they often leave garments very creased. The Hotpoint Aquarious TCM570P was just what I was looking for, the drying cycle can be set for up to 160 minutes and is the usual high heat , low heat setting.
