“ Manufacturer: AEG „
I first and foremost bought this tumble dryer because it allowed to me to deal with heavy loads of clothing at a time, up to 7 kilos, which would make it great for large families, but is a great addition to any household... The AEG Lavatherm 59850 can be bought on different stores, especially online, where both Redhill, amazon, argos and boots offer this product for a variated cost, I think Redhill is the most inexpensive, now costing 519.00, which I would say is ok giving that the quality of the tumble dryer is very good and reliable!
I really only have positive things to mention about this product, as it for instance is anything but noisy, as my last tumble dryer sounded like it was getting ready for the Acopalypse or something... With a low noise it also comes with an A energy rating, which will save you electricity and money, and of course is better for this environment of ours... At the front of the machine, you will find a multi choice control panel, with several choices, such as settings for pants, sweaters, linen, wool etc... There are also functions such as ironing, sensor drying and reverse action drying, and when your filter is full, there`s an indicator that will inform you that it needs to be changed...
If when using you have any difficulty or questions needing of an answer, the manual that follows the product is very informative and easy to understand. As for time consumption, this machine gets my clothing dry within a time slot of 15-30 minutes, depending upon how wet the clothing is and what type of clothes I`m drying... Pretty standard, you load the machine at the front, where all your switches and indicators are located as well...
All in all, I am very pleased with having purchased this tumble dryer from AEG, a good purchase!
The AEG Lavatherm 59850 is a superb condenser tumble dryer. I bought it online from boots kitchen appliances for £560 and have been very impressed with the results.
It is a white free standing build, dimensions are H85 W60 and D58, it is front loading and has a drying load of 7kg- ideal for larger families.
It has an A energy rating which means it uses less energy and is better for the environment and the energy consumption is 1.9kwh (which is good). The noise level is low at only 68db, ideal if the dryer is in the kitchen as the noise isn't too distracting.
Once the dryer had been delivered I found the user manual very simple, the directions for use were self explanatory. The machine is very stylish and has a digital display screen which displays the selected spin cycle, the drying speed and the time remaining on the cycle.
It also has a start, stop and pause button as well as a dial for selecting your preferred cycle.
The dial for the control panel on the front of the machine has lots of different settings. You can select settings for jeans, shirts, bed linen perfect if you are doing a mass load as you know that everything will dry at the same time and there will be no unneccessary half empty loads to dry the last few bits.
The control panel also allows you to select different functions such as:
Easy iron programme (for less creasing.)
Reverse action drying(prevents tangling of clothes.)
On the digital screen there is also a "Filter Full Indicator" which informs you when the filter needs changing.
There are vents at the bottom of the dryer to allow cooling and there is a small drawer where the condensed water is collected, this is easy to empty.
This dryer has been ideal for me and my family, it holds the entire load from my wash machine and drys it all within 20-40 minutes depending on what it is.
I got a 1 year warranty with the product as well.
