      A Good Performer

After my old tumble dryer died a death - it worked nearly six months of the year for 13 years and the time came to buy a new dryer, with so much choice on the market I decided to get add a Bosch Tumble Dryer to my already ever-growing supply of Bosch Appliances.

I purchased it online for a very nice price of £342.00. It is classed as a "B" rated machine. An all singing and dancing version.

It has a menu of programmes which is as long as a donkey's hind leg.

When I dry my cottons and easy-care washes I have a variety of options listed as:
Iron Dry, Cupboard Dry, Very Dry

On the cottons menu there is also Extra Dry which I use when drying towels and bed linen. There is a "Finish" mode for woollens. A Super Quick 40, Freshen-Up and also Timed Programmes.

The digital display which tells you how long is left for the drying programme, this can be adjusted for longer times by using the button situated just below the screen. There is a light for each individual programme mentioned above and one of these will be lit when the machine is on to remind you which programme you have chosen.

There are also two more lights below the programme lights, these lights only click on when the condensation container is full and needs to be emptied and the fluff in the filter needs to be removed.

There are also three buttons on the front panel for:
Low Heat - which is a reduced temperature for sensitive fabrics.
Reduced Ironing - which reduces creasing of the fabrics in the tumble dryer.
Buzzer - which can be turned on or off. The buzzer sounds at the end of the drying programme.

When drying the fabrics the programme will state on the digital screen how long the drying is expected to take then as the washing dries the time will reduce on the screen. The washing is dried with the use of a couple of stainless steel sensors situated inside the drum. The buzzer sounds at the end of the programme but if the machine is not switched off after a few minutes it will start up and rotate a couple of times and the machine will buzz again, this is part of the anti-crease programme. The condensation container situated at the top front left hand side of the machine is quite easy to remove and just pulls out of the machine and once emptied just push the container back until it clicks into position. The fluff filter is just as easy to remove, it is situated on the inside of the door at the bottom edge, just pull it up, flip it open and remove the fluff then click it shut and replace it back into position.

On the downside this machine is quite noisy, but other than that I have had this machine for a couple of months now and am very pleased with it's overall performance.
