My daughter and I both bought Creda TVR2 dryers at about the same time. Both broke down after a year with the drum not turning. The repair man said that the TVR2 was the worst buy on the market. He was right. The drum stopped again after less than a year. Do not buy this a Creda TVR2 tumble dryer.
This has to be the worst tumble dryer ever.
I brought this dryer from comet about 2 years ago for £165
My first disapointment was with how small the drum was, it would only dry 1/4 of the washing my washer would wash in one load.
Then after only 3 months of use it developed a nasty rattle and upon inspection we found that almost every screw on the dryer casing had come loose so we had to tighten them all back up.
At 11 months old it developed a whining noise so i phoned the engineer out as it was still guaranteed he said there was nothing wrong with it and billed me for a wasted call out.
At 13 months old now 1 month out of warrenty the belt snapped, i phoned credas parts line who sold me a new belt for £11.50
Then came trying to fit the thing, the only thing that holds the drum in place is the belts and side casing so the casing on the side cant be removed far enough to fit the new belt.
I took it to a washing machine repair shop who phoned me after 3 hours of trying to fit the new belt to say they couldnt do it either, so i had to get a new dryer.
So £165 for the dryer
£45 for the repair call out
£11.50 for the new belt
£221.50 for a dryer that lasted just 13 months
