“ Brand: Hotpoint / Type: Freestanding / Load Capacity: 7kg / Colour: Graphite „
I was in two minds whether to go ahead and purchase a new dryer when my old one popped its cloggs. I worry that they cost too much and waste energy. I ordered this machine through Argos and got a decent money off voucher. I went with a brand i could trust in Hotpoint, having already used their washing machines. I was very impressed with the look, small controls and a modern colour fit right into my kitchen. It has a solid glass front door and a safety start button see little hands can't cause problems!!!! It can hold upto 7kg of wet clothes, so you can transfer straight from washer to dryer, if your washer is 7kg load too, which is perfect, especially on horrible rainy days. The clothes come out really dry and i haven't had a problem yet. Although the energy rating is C i believe it will be a few years until all dryers are rated A. Other benefits are a vented dryer, 2 heat settings, reverse tumble action. The main downfall is the energy consumption, using 3.96kwh per cycle. Also it would be better with a load sensor but for the price you can't complain. The current price ranges from £184 - £220 but don't pay more than this.
The Hotpoint TVEM70C6G Vented Tumble Dryer is both modern in design and efficient in performance / This appliance comes with an impressive 7kg drying load capacity and has been rated C for its energy efficiency / Features include a reverse action drum which helps to speed up the drying process by preventing clothes from tangling and as a result eliminate damp spots in the garments / Other choices include the pre and post crease option which gently tumbles the clothes at the end of the drying cycle and prevents creasing making ironing a lot easier / The dryer also comes with 2 heat settings high and low and a 120 minute timer / A vented dryer releases hot air and ideally should be ducted through an outside wall using a vent kit that comes with the machine / If this is not possible then you should ensure a window or door is left open to prevent condensation forming on windows and walls. /
