Has a large enough capacity at 5kg for a family like us. Worked for six months or so then no heat. Had soemone in to have a look at it- he spent an hour tring to fix it but needed parts for it. Suggested that I buy a new one as it would be cheap...more

I first went for a gas dryer as the runing costs work out that much cheaper than using an electric dryer. At £350 to but new it was much more expensive than opting for an electric one- though hoped to recover that back in running costs. Also you need to allow for the cost of having installed and for safety reasons in use with gas you need to have a window open.Simple to use- just two settings- fine for us but if you have lots of delicates this may not be the dryer for you- an electric one may be the better choice in this instance.
