I bought this dryer back in 2004 and its been fantastic. A larger than average dryer this holds 6kg so is a great size for drying bedding and towels. When i bought this it was around £260 from currys.
It has a pipe for the heat to escape so ideally this needs to be headed outside. We fitted it into the wall directly as we had the space to do so and put a vent on the outside wall. This wouldnt be necessary but if you had the pipe indoors there would be alot of steam. For ease of use and installation there is the option to attach the pipe to either side or the back.
The dryer is incredibly easy to use with a dial which has the timings on each half of the dial. One half is a lighter colour for low temperature drying times and the other half for the normal drying function. You can select up to 100mins drying time. You also have on the front a start/stop button and low temperature button.
The dryer is not too noisy very similar to a microwave in volume i would say. The door to shut it you push it to and it will click and you have to push it in again to release it back open. This dryer i like as it doesnt have the clear door like a washer but a flat white door. The dryer is all white except for the low temperature button on the top middle which is either pale green or yellow depending what the store stocks.
As the dust and fibres from the clothes remain in the dryer during drying they collect in a filter that you simply pull from the centre of the door and scoop it up to empty. It all sticks together like a thick cloth so is not messy.
The dryer is effective and dries quite fast. Towels and clothes come out nice and soft. It is also gentle on embellished bedding which supposedly shouldnt go in the dryer. It is a smooth finish and easy to wipe down. I have always wiped down with anti bacterial wipes with no harm coming to it.
