My dryer's a TDS382W, but it seems very similar to the TDS281W model.
I've had mine for 7 years (I think), and it's still working fine, I've never had any problems with it - although I haven't used it for a while in order to cut back on electricity use because it does use a lot of power (plus I can dry stuff in my kitchen on clothes airers just as easily).
Loading and unloading are fairly easy, it's simple to operate as it only has 2 buttons (Low Temp and Cool Tumble) and the timer dial and, that's it.
You just load it, choose the options you want, and then set the timer, which starts the machine - a separate start/stop button would be a better option here for safety reasons and just in case you don't want it to start running immediately after setting the timer.
It's reliable, long-lasting and simple to use: which is more than can be said for some of the more modern machines, which seem to break down after about a year to 18 months of use.
