kieranmoore Arcam Alpha 10
... I had an A10 amp, A8se CD, and A8 analogue tuner, i thought I'd add one of these to the setup, particularly when I heard the range was going to be discontinued. At the same time I bought an A10 power amp, for bi-amping my new Pro-Ac Studio 120's. The case is identical to the A10 amp, with all the buttons and knobes being in the same positions, albeit serving a different purpose. Being an Alpha it shares the same less than solid feeling constructions as the other units, but no problems so far. Found that the included ribbon aerial didn't do anything, so connected it up to my existing FM antenna, having purchased a convertor for this. Set it to auto-tun...

mattydalton Technics ST-GT1000
... owned my Technics Digital Tuner for over a year now, I am extremely happy with the money I spent. I bought it as soon as I saw it as I love music. I have never been one for reading endless instruction booklets, so I just got it out of the box and set it up on my stereo. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as easy as I thought it would be so I had to have a quick scoot at the manual for the little extra features. It has a very simple layout, so even an idiot like myself can use it!!! The big button on the right is for both tuning and for flicking through the different radio stations once you have found a frequency that has radio stations broadcasting on it. The...

amazingtrade Denon TU-260L MKII
... Denon 260L MII replaced the legendary MKI back in 1999. It comes with all the usual RDS functions as well as a remote control sensor. Its very easy to use, has a very easy to read display and even looks good! The sound quality is the Denon’s best asset though as it quite simply one of the best sound budget tuners out there (although the Sony ST SE300 that I have now is just as good). I bought mine at the end of 1999 but I somehow managed to swap my Denon for a brand new Sony (I won’t go into details) in November 2000. It always sounds every alive and active but never sounding harsh and bright like some from the likes of Pioneer. Radio One and other compres...
