Advantages: lots of features
Disadvantages: No battery light
This nifty tuner includes seems to include everything a beginning to intermediate player could want, as well as the basic tuner represented by a swinging dial on the screen, and a light that tells you whether it is too flat or sharp, it also includes a metronome with a variety of beats, input and output sockets and it can produce any note itself. All this comes at a middling price which is reasonable for all it's functions, and it only needs a few buttons, making it easier to work your way around. It also runs of AA batteries, and although I'm not sure about other tuners, any small gadget that does has an immediate plus.
One of the downsides that I've noticed is that there is no low battery light or indicator, and the only way to tell is a very slow and gradual loss of sensitivity and the screen gets duller. This makes it hard to tell whether it's the batteries or tuner that's at fault. Overall an excellent and reasonably priced guitar accessory!
Summary: An excellent tuner!
