I had wanted a radio for my kitchen for ages and was bought on of these Tangent Uno Table Radio for my birthday.
You can buy them on Amazon for £89.95 and they can also be bought at electrical stores like Curry's and Comet for £109.00, I have seen them online at Atlantic for £79.99 so it pays to shop around.
What you get for your money is a cute little retro looking radio in a walnut shell, it's not to big and easily sits on a shelf in the kitchen.
Dimensions (WxDxH): 19 cm x 13.3 cm x 12.5 cm
It's a really stylish radio and comes in white, black and walnut casings.
I think the walnut one has the best look as it makes it look older then the others and more retro.
You get 10 watts of sound which is loud enough for me to listen to the radio whilst doing my kitchen duties and the sound is clear without distortion. it has manual tuning so you can just adjust the knob on the front to find the various radio stations and it tunes in easily without any hissing of fading of the station once you've found which one you want to listen to. There are three simple operating knobs, and a prominent analogue display Just plug it in and tune it in and your away, simple to use just as I like things to be. Although you do get a user manual with it but you don't really need to read it.
There is only one speacker built in as its a retro radio designed in the 1960's style radio's but it's enough to hear music loud and clear. it does have a MP3 connection so you can connect your MP3 player via the auxiliary connection and get the most out of your music from this century.

For a small kitchen radio it is ideal for me, it pumps out the music at a reasonable volume when I'm washing up and looks quite stylish. I'm really impressed with the retro radio as it does its job nicely.
The tuning knob turns easily to be able to find the station you want and it has FM/AM stations to choose from.
All in all its a great little radio which has a great look. If your looking for a good solid radio that has a bit of retro style about it then this one is a relly good choice, it's not to expensive and does a great job at delivering clear in tune radio station music.
I love it.
