Gemini PDT-6000:
... Gemini PDT 6000 turntable is a great deck with some good features that at the time when new were class leading. Seperate control of pitch & tempo (2 sliders on the deck) were available, along with large range pitch control (upto +/- 32%), adjustable start speed & brake speed, master tempo lock, quartz lock, reverse play & digital screen showing either the pitch or BPM. The output could either be pho... Read the full review: Fully specced turntable by tarmacterrorist |

Technics SL-1200 series (in general) ... technics are the most widely used throughout the world. They are the most used decks and will be seen sitting pretty in most clubs. The reason for this is because they are for proffesional use. When you use technics it gives you and accurate speed when using the pitch control. So when you have a more accurate pitch control it is easier to match the beats and the tempo with the other record or turntable. Which gives you a perfect mix and it holds its mix perfect for longer without loosing the beat match. They are even better when you get the concorde needles which are basically called dipped down needles. The reason for this is because it sits the needle at a certain... Technics SL-1210MK2 ... are the leading manufactuer in the world when it comes to decks. They are trusted and used by most professional djs throughout the world and are seen in most clubs. Although without a doubt the technics sl1210 mk2 is the most popular and widely used professional turntable around today. they are always found in every club today they still out preform new manufactueres and their turntables. This is even after twenty years after their launch. They are still going strong. I always buy direct drive rather than belt drive as belt drive are less acurate. So direc drive is always the best and thats what these decks are. It has an s shaped arm with the needle and cartri... Read the full review: Technics by DomDom26 |

Vestax PDX-2000 ... owning a not fantastic set of direct drive Numarks, I decided to upgrade to the Vestax PDX2000. The difference was instantly noticable. The Vestax have a thunderous lightning quick start up and the tone arm feels completely solid, something I ve always had an issue with the Technics 1210 series. The adjustable start up and stop is a nice addition, I personally have the stop turned up just a little as if it is set to instant stop then it is harder to manipulate the deck for example, a spin-back / rewind. Although they are a lot lighter than the Technics, they feel solid enough although I have managed to snap off a couple of the legs by constantly moving them arou...
