Technics SL-BD22:
... brings back some memories! I haven t used this turntable in a very very long time. One of my friends had two of these turntables as part of his DJ set up and we used to use this for hours and hours every week. At the time, I was quite impressed, it was one of the first turntables I had ever used. As soon as I used another turntable though, I realised that this was a very poor effort. The whole thing feels che... Read the full review: Stick with the SL Direct Drive series. by danball |

Crosley CR83 ... Vintage in right now? I m not sure. It seems like every other year it s all the sudden "cool" to get some bygone era of vintage "look". Sidenote: Except, I don t know what the deal is with this 1980 s dress and hair thing going on again. For all us over the age of 25 it s because we grew up in the 80 s and know how crap the clothes and hair were....granted the 90 s were probably even worse. Regardless, in my own personal view, I love a lot of modern convienences with a classic vintage touch. This Crosley Entertainment System is a top notch reproduction that will look gorgeous though in pretty much any decor you have (unless your all Andy Warholi... Technics SL-1210M3DEG ... don t think many of these were made as the 1210 MK5 s came out shortly after these were released. The only major difference between the MK3 and the MK2 is the pitch control reset switch. This allows you to puch a button and the pitch automatically resets itself to 0%. Push the button again and it returns to the pitch selected by the slide control. This is a decent feature but one that personally, I rarely use. Like previous modles, the pitch control only goes to +/- 8, which was increased on later technics turntables. I would have liked to be able to select +/- 10 at the very least. This turntable is as sturdy as they come, you can feel that as soon as you open the box.... Read the full review: Excellent Technics Turntable by danball |

Technics SL-1200 series (in general) ... of all, this turntable is really for club DJs. The main difference from any other turntable is that it has pitch control, enabling users to change the tempo of a track to seamlessly blend it together with another, creating a non-stop musical extravaganza. You probably know that if you re reading this review, so I ll move on to the more important stuff. The 1200 (in all its incantations, including the 1210 which is the same but black) is the Rolls Royce of all club turntables. It s the industry standard, a turntable with 30 years reputation behind it, and a beautiful, beautiful machine to play with. I ve DJd on numerous turntables, and was lucky enough to own my own ...
