Technics SL-1210MK2:
... have been using the famous technics for a fair old while now. Working as a DJ, if somewhere doesn't have them, they aren't taken seriously. They start when you press the button, they stop when you press the button, and they go faster or slower as you twiddle the lever, and thats it. Gemini PT-2400 ... stop completely still. Although one of my turntable doesn't stop completely still, but that doesn't effect performance. Peformance wise this turntable is up with Technics, torque, start/stop/ p itch accurancy and reaction times, all meet up with Technics. Overall this Turntable is superb and i would recommend it to anyone. It's just a good as Technics but you save alot of money. Numark TT1 ... a great step forward from the Numark 1910's these decks are a must buy for all professional disc jockeys. Being a DJ myself I have to know about the latest tunes, but never to forget I have to be knowledgeable about equipment too!! Far ahead of the well known Technics SL-1210's, the Numark pro TT's are great. With 3 different speed options 33, 45 and 78rpm and a digital screen they are brilliant. Best used with Stanton needles and cartridges the proTT's really keep your records in tact. They are very reliable and well worth their price. Technics SL-1210MK2 ... can i say that hasn't already been said about these turntables, i wouldn't use anything else to mix with! The SL-1210's are without a doubt the most reliable and robust decks i have ever encountered in my little short career as a Dj. I've used other decks before but in the music i mix (Rn'B and Hip hop) nothing touches the stability these decks can provide for scratching and jerking the record around the table, The SL-1210mk2 is made of aluminum and has really thick rubber pads underneath it to stop all the vibrations from distorting your tunes.
