Linn is a Scottish based company that produce and sell the best stereo systems money can buy, chances are, you've never heard of this company, after paying hundreds of pounds for a stereo he thought was very mediocre, Ivor Tiefenbrun, decided to make his own stereo from CNC machine engineered alloy, some Linn stereos will set you back maybe GBP100,000.00 (one hundred thousand), making this the reason you won't have heard too much about Linn products.

Only the best grade alloys are used to make Linn Hi Fi's. A conductor from the philharmonic orchestra was placed blindfolded in a room while a lady played a cello, then a "CD" of the same piece was played, the engineering is taking so seriously, the conductor said the CD was the lady playing and vice versa, this will give you an idea on how serious this company is about its stereo's function ability.

Sure you can, if you're prepared to fork out GBP210.00 for interconnecting cables to connect speakers to the amps, out of interest, phone them up and ask about their lowest priced HiFi and I'm sure they'll ask which popstar you are.

This was Linn's first product, and you would be right in saying its no nonsense approach to its brand would make this one of the best turntables on the market.
The turntable uses a single point bearing giving it absolute smoothness, the arm and vinyl needle have been manufactured to a point of this picking up those minute pieces of music other turntables can't/won't.
The Sondek revolutionized the way in which turntables would be made, this company set the standards for the entire industry.

You can have the LP12 in 5 styles of wood, real wood, no chipboard carry on here, standard finishes are Black Ash, American Cherry, Maple, Rosenut or Walnut, or if you really do have the readies then you can have it in any wood finishing of your choice, but expect to wait maybe 3 months for your finished product.
