... combination these decks and this mixer help me do whatever I want including producing my own music through my computer. The proTT's also are able to play your records forwards and backwards and are quite good for scratching (for all you Hip/Hop DJs.) So, if you are a fellow DJ and need new decks, don't waste your money on £1000 Vestax's. Instead buy Numark proTT's as they do the same job looking quite classy as well. So, find about £500 a buy a pair of Numark proTT's!!!! Also if anyone out there needs...more

Obviously not all of us can afford fantastic Vestax decks costing £1000 a pair, so for those of us that can't, we need to find an alternative. This is by far the best alternative, and dare I say, better than Technic Sls. The things to judge a deck on are stabilisation, accuracy of pitch, platter power, and starting time and Numark wins in all thes categories by far, beating all decks in its price range, and even technics; coming extremely close to Vestax (which is twice the price!). Numarks start in no more than 1/2 second, stabilise before one revolution, pitch accuracy is excellent, and the starting power is at least 2kg/cm, only 0.1 less than Vestax! ...  Read the complete review

If your deciding to buy a new pair of turntables to push your djing even further Technics aren't the only choice, believe it or not!!! Last June (1999) Numark released a brand new turntable called the pro TT1. It costs £600 for a pair and they are just as sturdy and reliable as Technics 1210s. They have 33, 45 and 78 speed, + and - 10 rather then Technics 8 and also have a reverse function. To top all this off there is an LCD display that shows the direction of the platter and the pitch at which it is running. They are well built, sturdy and a very serious alternative Technics. So don't rush out and buy Technics, try these babies out, you might just like them!! ...  Read the complete review

Being a great step forward from the Numark 1910's these decks are a must buy for all professional disc jockeys. Being a DJ myself I have to know about the latest tunes, but never to forget I have to be knowledgeable about equipment too!! Far ahead of the well known Technics SL-1210's, the Numark pro TT's are great. With 3 different speed options 33, 45 and 78rpm and a digital screen they are brilliant. Best used with Stanton needles and cartridges the proTT's really keep your records in tact. They are very reliable and well worth their price. As a proud owner of proTT's I also have a Numark DMX mixer. Being a great combination ...  Read the complete review
