Rega P2:
... then, my friends and family questioned why I wanted a turntable. Some folk wanted them because they had a established record collection, and wanted something to play records on. Invariably, they chose Midi system (remember those?!?) type arrangements. I chose the Rega Planar 2, and stick firmly behind it. It may have had a facelift, but essentially Rega are still kicking out superb turntables. I asked Rega fo... Read the full review: Warm music breaking through by Cargill |

Rega P2 ... you are reading a review of this type of turntable, then your probably a bit older than the Briteny Spears appreciation society members, and probably appreciate the sound of good well kept vinyl. The Rega ooozes solid build quality and just the cleanest sound. My niece saw my deck and pronounced they her family had 'one of those'... comparing it to her own Sony stack record deck. If you want something that will do justice to your investment in vinyl, and you have a good separate system to match, the Rega is a very sure bet purchase. You wont be going wrong. Though, if you are keen to play your 45s frequently... be warned that the mechanism for changing ... Read the full review: Minimalist High Quality by Halibut88 |

Rega P3 ... suspect that many people reading this may not be sure exactly what to look for in a turntable these days, especially if you are lucky enough to be born in the 80's, so this is also an attempt to help everyone out. I have had the Rega for a year now but have been a semi pro DJ for much longer. The Rega Planar 3 is a High Fidelity turntable. Before I go any further I will state that it cannot be used for DJing. Rega P3 ... like a lot of people your old albums are gathering dust through lack of use invest in the rega planer three. This turntable is a sound investment no pun intended, place that favourite old album on the platter and relive your lost youth. The rega is fine turntable with good quaility arm fitted just add a cartridge and you are ready to rock and roll. This turntable is very well engineered and an excellent reintroduction to vinyl replay, fitted with a AT110 cartridge it produces a fine sound giving a real insight into the music. Play rumours and listen to the close harmonies you could almost be in the studio with them something which you do not get with cds. My only gr...
