Advantages: Sturdy, Pitch Reset Button

I don't think many of these were made as the 1210 MK5's came out shortly after these were released. The only major difference between the MK3 and the MK2 is the pitch control reset switch. This allows you to puch a button and the pitch automatically resets itself to 0%. Push the button again and it returns to the pitch selected by the slide control. This is a decent feature but one that personally, I rarely use. Like previous modles, the pitch control only goes to +/- 8, which was increased on later technics turntables. I would have liked to be able to select +/- 10 at the very least.
This turntable is as sturdy as they come, you can feel that as soon as you open the box. Mine have taken some abuse and still work as well as the day I bought them. Technics turntables are famous for lasting for a very long time, these are no exception to that.
