Freecom DVB-T USB stick ... mine for about 4 months now, using it on my laptop, the little portable aerial that comes with it is totally useless, unless you have a transmitter next door to your house i doubt you d get a good signal, I wouldn t buy one if portability is important. I use mine from the normal house aerial though, the signal is brilliant, its very handy to record programs as i can t afford a seperate expensive HDD recorder! The aerial connector on the end of the USB stick is quite flimsy though, it pulls out incase you trip over it I presume, but if you keep plugging/unplugging/tripping over, I could see this breaking quite easily. GNR TV200 ... GNR TS900 cheap and excellent value Personally I do like this screen. Its large enough to have multiple applications open at once and colours are also great. It has an ultra fast response time of 8ms. It probably isnt the best for avid gamers (even though I used to game on it and never had any problems with colours/shadows/response rate) but for personal/home/business use its hard to be beaten. After 1 year of use over 8 hours per day it has not once let me down in any way. Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1100 ... written in 2007 - using software version 3.3c The specification of Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1100 is impressive. But does it live up to its claims? The card has both an analogue and digital tuner (Freeview). The spec says you can record programmes and also has a FM Radio (not DAB radio). Also, beware if you want to enjoy Digital TV, you must have a good reception with a quality roof aerial (better outdoor rather then indoor). Even if you can get Freeview in your living room, does not mean that your TV reception willnot be effected by the interference generated by your PC.
