Pinnacle PCTV Rave ... this card in november 2000 for about 40 quid from my local currys store, in order to watch live tv on my pc and yes at the time it did sound to good to be true, I found the instructions pretty easy to use with an easy step by step guide for a novice user. Installing the software to was also easy with the guides. Once the software was installed and your arials connected etc, You get the fun of tuning the tuner card into the tv stations (at this point You wish you had never brought the damn thing) This is a long time consuming job esp when your on a wreak arial, the auto tune didnt seem to work for me so i had to search for each channel. once all tunings done. ... Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe ... I write this today the Leadtek brand is mostly present on Dooyoo.uk with its graphics cards based on Nvidia chipsets. However, and not everybody knows this, Leadtek also ventures in other - related - domains. And so since a while already they are making TV tuner cards. Here of course they have to compete with well known brands like Hauppage (well represented on Dooyoo.uk) and Pinnacle. Those two alone cover almost the bulk of the market in TV-tuner cards. And I did have a Hauppage WinTV primio FM card before this Leadtek card, but I sold it off to a friend, not because it didn't work well, but because it lacked some of the features this Leadtek card has. - ... Hauppauge WinTV PCI FM ... bought this card because I wanted to reduce the amount of equipment I have to take to university by combining my pc and TV. As far as I can tell, this is the same as the Hauppauge WinTV Primio only with stereo sound. It is only £3 more expensive though, so get this card if you have the choice (I found the cheapest on 'dabs'). Its very easy to use, and gives a great picture, even with a portable arial. The radio is easy to use, but you can get digital radio through the bbc website. The best thing is the remote control because it is easy to set up and as well as having the usual controls (channels, volume, mute etc) you can minimize the tv window or make it f...
