The AV-Card Pro provides professional editing software from Ulead MediaStudio PRO and Adorage Magic Software, with a multitude of trick effects, comprehensive overlay control (from blue-box to image masks) and professional audio editing (e.g. the suppression of background noise). The card contains an integrated soundcard and combines audio and video in one interrupt. Also provided is a direct connection to the CD-ROM drive for music CDs, headphone output and a particularly low noise microphone input. Finished videos can be replayed in full resolution without being completely rendered into a file beforehand, making immediate transfer to tape without recompression possible (timeline playback). Films can be transferred in a format suitable for presentation on the Internet and sent by e-mail to family or friends living far away.
