Electronic-Design DV-Toaster ... family video films can be transferred to DV video, saved on CD-ROM or DVD. No more video copy losses! Your treasured films can now be saved permanently. After selecting and saving the video scenes from tape to the computer, the real fun starts with cutting, mixing, trick blending, titling, and adding effects and music. Finished videos can be replayed in full resolution without being completely rendered into a file beforehand, making immediate transfer to tape without recompression possible (timeline playback). Films can be transferred in a format suitable for presentation on the Internet and sent by Email to family or friends living far away.

The DV-Toaster contains an integrated soundcard and combines audio and video in one interrupt. Also provided is a direct connection to the CD-ROM drive for music CDs, headphone output and a particularly low noise microphone input.
