Elgato EyeTV USB ... shows permanently using your CD or DVD burner. EyeTV will change the way you watch television.

EyeTV's integrated Electronical Program Guide (EPG) from TitanTV (US) or tvtv (Europe) helps you find shows of interest using keyword searches. Enter the name (or just part of the name) of your favorite actor, type of show (sports, comedy, action), or show title, and the EPG will find what you're looking for and tell you when to catch it.

EyeTV includes a 124-channel cable-ready TV tuner and MPEG encoder to digitize and send TV signals to your Mac over a standard USB cable (included). EyeTV software displays your TV show in a resizable window that you can extend the full size of your screen.

EyeTV can do everything a VCR does without the hassle of video tapes. EyeTV needs only 650MB of disk space to store an hour of video on your hard disk. If you want a permanent copy, use your CD or DVD recorder to burn a Video CD, Super Video CD or DVD that is playable in your home DVD player (Toast 6 Titanium is required to burn VCDs, SVCDs and DVDs).

EyeTV gives you the freedom to attend to interruptions without missing your favorite shows. You can pause whatever you're watching, whether it's a live television broadcast or a recorded show, and then resume watching whenever you're ready.

EyeTV is compatible with the Keyspan Digital Media Remote. The installation CD includes a Keyspan key-mapping file that can be imported into the Keyspan Digital Media Remote software. This will automatically configure your Keyspan remote for use with EyeTV. The EyeTV User's Guide has complete instructions on how to add a Keyspan Digital Media Remote for use with EyeTV.

EyeTV lets you choose to view more or less. Use the Jump button to skip over the stuff you don't want to see-like commercials-or use the Instant Replay button to watch your favorite scenes again and again.
