Hauppauge WinTV DVB-c

I purchased this to add to my PC hoping that it would allow me to have digital TV in my room. I perticularly liked the idea of having TV in a window while i worked or browsed the web. Unfortiounatly, it was not to be! The first problem i experianced was that my computer refused to boot with the card installed but recovered again as soon as the card was removed. I tryed 3 diffrent PCI slots, all with the same result. I contacted the shop where i bought the card and they exchanged it for another.
