It is stutters and is slow to change channels and has odd bug like when you press up channel in your "favorites" it gets stuck at some number like 3 or 12 for reasons i have yet to fathom.excerpt from a readme.doc from pinnacle: 2.50 Stuttering preview (general problem: "stuttering during recording/timeshifting" ,(mostly with VIAchipsets) In this case please install the tool "PPE" under the programgroup "tools", to make clear the necessity please read the "PPE Readme" first. Please turn off your system after PPE-install totally (main switch off) before you start again.so: Unless you enjoy digging around in the guts of your OS don't get any pinnacle stuff. Or maybe all pc sat cards are this hard to configure. This is the only one i ever used, but my normal tv card is just fine and I never had a problem with it. (Hauppauge)
