Sky Plus (Sky+):
... LOVE sky plus, orginally I bought it for my boyfriend when we first bought the house together as a movingin presnet for him but it deffientely has made my life easier too! Recording programmes is fantastic and allows me o keep up to date with all the programmes that I want to watch however it would make it easier if you could record more than 2 rather than having to watch one you were going to watch anyway. Whereas other channels may feature older BBC programmes, or pick popular programmes from a main channel and show them back to back, BBC Three tends to be a sort of testing ground in many ways to see if a show is successful and could make it onto the main stage of BBC 1 or 2. Shows such as Gavin and Stacy started out on BBC Three, as did many cool docu-style programmes. Starting at 7pm, it shows a nice blend of comedy and real life, with often strange documentaries mixing it with serious drama, soaps and favou... CBeebies ... is a freeview channel which is also available on Sky TV. It was first broadcast in 2002 and is very popular! It is aired from 6am to 7pm and is aimed at children of pre-school age. The programmes it shows include Bob the Builder, Nina and the Neurons, In the Night Garden and Charlie and Lola. The programmes are fairly educational so I don t tend to mind my children watching them but I do tend to find that the shows are repeated throughout the day so it is not a babysitter for sure! I use the channel if I need to get on with cooking dinner, or to get some housework done. The programmes are bright, colourful and catchy. They all include music of some kind,... Sky Plus (Sky+) ... years we had Sky in our house, at one point we had multiroom so had 2 boxes. It was good - plenty of channels to search through and still not find anything to watch! But there was always a problem - we couldn t record programmes and we couldn t watch everything we wanted to watch. Plus the adverts! They drive you insane and there was no way to avoid them. Then we discovered Sky Plus and our lives haven t been the same since! We can record two programmes at once, fast forward through the adverts, pause live TV...it has saved our marriage!! Now when my husband decides he wants to watch the football I can record Eastenders and Coronation Street and just watch them...
