bishopview Sky Plus (Sky+): ... summer, me and my hubby were watching TV. when an advert came on offering a free sky plus box to new customers. My hubby was quite annoyed at this, as he had been a loyal sky customer for the last 15 years. So with my encouragement, he rang up the sky office and told them he wanted to cancel his sky account. When They enquired why, my husband explained that he felt cheated that they were only offering the free s...

ItsMeItsMe Nickelodeon
... teenagers and kids will love tuning into Nickelodeon as the channel brings in some fantastic entertainment. There are so many shows on the channel I can pick out such as My Parents are Aliens, Kenan and Kel and Sabrina the teenage witch to watch on the channel. These shows make watching the channel interesting but there are even more good cartoon shows like Hey Arnold and Spongebob Squarepants. You have to pay on Sky to watch the channel as it comes with the entertainment pack. I loved watching the shows on this channel when I was younger but noticed a lot of the classic shows were repeated too much on the show. In 2005 they used to show too much of Sabrina the Teen...

jammedfool ITV 4
... 4 is one of the lesser watched channels on TV. This may well be because it shows a number of shows that are not very popular. However, ITV 4 does allow you to watch live football, such as the FA cup draws, which otherwise you wouldnt have a clue about. In fact, ITV 4 is quickly becoming one of the few left to regularly show football on Freeview. If you have Sky, then this shouldnt be a problem, what with sky sports, sky sports extra, and all the other sports channels. But with freeview, you occasionally get the odd match on BBC 1 or 2 or ITV 1, but ITV 4 seems to regularly show the lower league matches and early cup games, which are sometimes more interesting than pre...

Anfisa Sky Movies
... upon a time (before April 2007, to be precise), the Sky Movies package was great. The channels were not split up according to genre and the same movies were not shown ad nauseam; unique films ran non-stop so on any one channel you could watch 12-15 different movies in a day. Then the powers that be had a brainwave and revamped the package - the result is a mediocre product that is definitely not worth the money and that offers a very narrow range of movies that makes the local Vue multiplex edgy and adventurous by comparison. The backbone of the package (ignoring the HD frills) is made up of Movies Premiere and Movies Premiere +1 (which is essentially the same ch...
