durhamapple Sky Sports 1: ... sports bring you arguably the best sporting action of any UK sports channel. It s dominated primarily by football matches, most of which are premiership games at the weekend and it always shows the biggest games of the season. On top of this it s the best place to get all of the European football action, for example the champions league and Euro cup. But I think one of the channel s great strengths is it s balanc...

laukez ITV 1
... really has become a channel filled with dross! I never used to mind this channel but now I find there is very little that is of interest to me. What must be a pretty huge budget is blown on some really sub-standard programmes. I m not saying I am looking to be intellectually challenged every time I watch T.V. but ITV really does provide only the most empty headed viewing! First of all, the soaps. I used to think Coronation Street and Emmerdale were watchable chill out telly. The characters were familiar and there were some quite good storylines in the past. No longer. The programmes look amateurish, the storylines are uninteresting and there is little by way of dece...

... I could only have one television channel that I was allowed to watch then I would pick ITV every time, I love this channel and I think it could probably keep me entertainined all day if I had the chance to sit and spend the whole day watching TV. I don t really watch that many different channels and along with ITV it will usually just be Channel 4 and ITV2. I cannot believe we have to pay TV Licence for BBC and given the choice I would happily not pay it and just live without BBC, I honestly wouldn t miss it. I think ITV is the best channel because of all the great shows it has on, I love their daytime shows (well most of them, I can t stand Jeremy Kyle) Loose Wome...

Michaelboard2009 Sky Plus (Sky+)
... to getting sky plus, like many others like me I struggled to be able to watch everything I wanted in one night due programmes being shown at the same time or falling asleep early. When I had sky installed and bought a sky+ box all of this changed. This innovative technology which is a digital hard-drive enables you to record two programmes at the same time with just a few presses of the button. Gone are the days that you miss your favourite soaps and programmes once you get sky+. The sky+ box also allows you to set it to record a whole series automatically by using the series link function, this is particularly useful if you go out one night and forget to record...
