jammedfool ITV 4: ... 4 is one of the lesser watched channels on TV. This may well be because it shows a number of shows that are not very popular. However, ITV 4 does allow you to watch live football, such as the FA cup draws, which otherwise you wouldnt have a clue about. In fact, ITV 4 is quickly becoming one of the few left to regularly show football on Freeview. If you have Sky, then this shouldnt be a problem, what with sky spor...

Anfisa Sky Movies
... upon a time (before April 2007, to be precise), the Sky Movies package was great. The channels were not split up according to genre and the same movies were not shown ad nauseam; unique films ran non-stop so on any one channel you could watch 12-15 different movies in a day. Then the powers that be had a brainwave and revamped the package - the result is a mediocre product that is definitely not worth the money and that offers a very narrow range of movies that makes the local Vue multiplex edgy and adventurous by comparison. The backbone of the package (ignoring the HD frills) is made up of Movies Premiere and Movies Premiere +1 (which is essentially the same ch...

holi_k Sky HD
... had Sky+ HD installed in our apartment last month. We have a three year old Phillips 42inch plasma tv. When the engineer installed the box he informed us that the picture may not be flawless due to the age of our television, however once we were hooked up my boyfriend automatically tuned in to Sky Sports 1 HD and the picture was flawless. HD quality really does make a difference when you re watching movies at home and it has definitely stopped me buying so many Bargain Bin DVD s in my local supermarket! The box itself is fairly small (in comparison to previous sky boxes) and has a sleek black slimline design which looks great on the shelf underneath the TV. It also has...

edwardday Sky Plus (Sky+)
... daft as it may sound, Sky Plus has actually improved my social life. The reason being that I used to often stay in to watch my favourite programmes rather than going to the pub with my mates simply because I didn t want to miss them. Since the introduction of Sky Plus though, I have found that I can record my programmes and still go and have a few drinks! It is so easy and quick to use as well. All you have to do is find the programme you wish to watch on the planner and press the record button and your programme is set up to record. Long gone are the days when you had to record on video and type in a big long number! If you have heard about a programme you might like...
