when 90210 first came out in the UK i was a big fan of gossip girl, so 90210 was a massive let down and i didn't think it was very good at all. but, i stuck with it and am now an avid fan and GG is boring! series 1 is fairly dull and the characters are revamped for series 2 and it gets much better. series 3 is sheer brilliance and i've really enjoyed watching it and how the characters have developed, and all the storylines. the annoying thing is there's always a psycho who someone gets sucked in by! be it mr cannon, or now cousin emily :| it's so frustrating! but i guess that makes the storylines. it's nice to watch some hot people in a great location with their great clothes trying to achieve their dreams, but in the short term have a great time. it is dramatic, and deals with a lot of issues, which most people wouldnt be affected by - certainly not the number of things they all go through. if you like high school dramas like the o.c, one tree hill and the old gossip girls then this is definitely for you! season 3 is the best! maybe just wiki the first two series and start watching from series 3 :)
